Digital printing Digital printing works similar to a multi-colour image printer: The colour(s) of your label are printed on a white background using Pantone references or your customized CMYK color mix. This ensures that the label shows your original colours - including shadows and/or graduations. As standard material, we use a white thin PE foil, other materials are available on request. Please note, that for technical reasons, all materials are more or less glossy. Digital printing on perfectly mat or structured paper as well as printing in metallic colors is not possible. Gold or silver colors are simulated as yellow or grey color tones.
Digital printing
Our digitally printed labels come on rolls, usually with 1000 labels per roll. -
Hot stamp printing In contrast to digital printing, hot stamp printing "stamps" each colour separately onto the label material. This results in a very dense colour intensity, that will fully cover even a black background and also enable us to print your logo in metallic colours. Hot stamping will give your label a very distinctive touch. You can choose from more than 10 different material colours, or you can go for one of our antique papers with a fine-line structure, that comes close to hand-made stationery paper. Or brown paper with a wooden structure. Or a transparent foil... As you see, there are almost no limits to the available material options.
Hot stamp printing
Please note that we can not offer you just any paper colour of your choice as base material, thus it may be necessary for us to dye white paper in your desired colour prior to printing your logo. We will be happy to advise you on prices and minimum order quantities.
Regarding your printing colour(s), you may choose from more than 50 options. Our range of standard colours is shown on the page linked to this paragraph. As a consequence, however, we may not be able to fully match your logo colour(s). Because every colour is printed with a separate print head, multi-colour hot stamp printing results in extra costs. Colour shading and/or graduations are not possible either. Should you desire so, we would advise you to choose a digitally printed label.
Our hot stamped labels come on rolls with usually 1000 labels per roll for smaller formats and less labels per roll for larger label sizes, because the diameter of a label roll is always the same regardless of the label size.
