Carrier bag TORINO - white or brown kraft paper, machine made with twisted paper handles
Our machine made TORINO kraft paper carrier bags can be produced using plain white, plain brown or ribbed brown paper. Please note that this is merely the paper colour, of course the bag may be fully printed in one or more colours from the outside. The inside of the bag can not be printed and will thus be just the paper colour, i.e. white or brown.
Contrary to the carrier bag series NEUTRI, CORDINO and VERONA, the logo on your TORINO bag will not be printed manually on a ready bag. The paper for your TORINO bags will be printed before the machine folds the bag and adds the handles as last step. This means a higher minimum order quantity, but also a more competitive price.
Paper colours and weights

Paper weights:
The paper weight depends on the bag size, the larger the bag, the thicker the paper will be. The paper weight will be indicated for each bag size below. There will be no restriction regarding the size of your print, we can print the full front and back side and as well into the side folds. So you will apparently get a green bag with white logo, if we print on a white bag with 100% print coverage and just leave blank (i.e. the white paper colour will come through) the letters of your logo.
We use flexographic print with liquid inks for our TORINO bags. Please note that a full coverage print on brown paper may trigger a fading of the print colour, because the underlying bag colour shines through. Therefore we recommend that you choose white paper for your bags, especially for large print areas and for light print colours. Regardless of the outside print, the inside colour of the bag will always equal the paper colour, i.e. white or brown.

What about plate or cliché costs?
For your first order or if there are changes to an existing print layout we will need a printing plate or cliché for each print colour and each bag size. A cliché is a rubber plate with your logo, very similar to a business stamp:
The cliché cost depend on the print size, that will determine the size of the rubber plate. Therefore we are not able to give you a fixed cost figure for your plate(s), but rather just an estimate based on the typical extension of customer logos for each bag size. After having reviewed your individual print design, we will be happy to give you an exact quotation for your plate(s).
Which parameters will influence print and plate costfor my bag?
The print costs depend on the print coverage, the more ink is needed, the higher the print costs will be. The difference between adding or taking out one colour, however, will merely be one or two cents per bag.

The plate or cliché costs depend on the print size or the size of the print. The more your logo stretches across the bag, the bigger the plate will have to be. The example below shows a print size of 100%, although the print coverage is not more than 50%. The plate cost is a one time cost for your first order, when you reorder the same bag (same size, no change in print motive), we will reuse the existing plate. Please note that we need one plate per print colour. A change to your print motive means that we will need a new plate.

No problem - we will be happy to quote you the following alternative sizes (width + depth x height):

All TORINO bags can also be produced on one-side coated white paper, that looks more smooth and a little shiny. Please ask for an individual quotation.
All TORINO bags will be produced with certified FSC paper.
The plate costs mentioned above are just an indication for the respective size of bag and print motive, assuming that you will send us the print data as vectorized .eps, .ai or .pdf file. To ensure a satisfying print quality, all pictures should have a resolution of min. 300 dpi. Please state your print color as Pantone "U" color. The actual plate costs may differ from the costs mentioned on this page and are only binding as mentioned on the sample print, that we will send you for approval upon having received your order and before we start production. On request and without your entering into any obligation, we will be happy to send you a binding  plate cost quotation prior to your order if you submit us your logo and print motive in advance.
