In contrast to digital printing, hot stamp printing "stamps" each colour separately on your label, very similar to a business stamp, that you use in your office. Thereby we achieve a very high colour density and we can also offer you truly metallic/shiny colours.
Hot stamped colours enhance the appearance of your label in a very prestigious way. For smooth standard papers, just choose your paper from more than 10 different colour variations. Or go for our antique paper with a fine line texture, similar to linen paper in white and cream. Also available in brown which has a wooden look. Or maybe a transparent glossy PE foil? ... As you see, there is almost no limit to the variety of available materials.
In case we can not offer you a specific colour as a base colour, the best solution is to dye white paper according to your needs. Just ask us for an individual quotation.
As to printing colours, just make your choice among ca. 50 available options. Further down on this page, you will find a summary of the most commonly used printing colours. Feel free to ask us for advice, if you do not find "your" colour. Please note that we can not change the composition/graduation of the colours below, this may mean that we can not map your logo colours with 100% accuracy.
For a multicolour print, each colour will be hot stamped one by one in a separate production step. This leads to a price surcharge for each additional printing colour. We are also not able to print colour shades and/or graduations. If this is essential for you, you may wish to change to our digital printing technology as described on a separate page. Unless you need metallic/shiny print colours, a digital print will usually be the cheaper alternative for multi-colour print.
Our hot stamped labels will come in an easy-to-use dispenser box, normally with 1000 labels per roll. For larger formats, there may be less than 1000 labels on a roll, because the maximal diameter of the label roll will always stay the same.
