Cardboard boxes

Our standard boxes are
with a lid, made of a robust 2 mm cardboard coating with a paper layer inside and outside, overall material thickness is about 1000 g / sqm. The boxes consist of 2 pieces, a bottom part and a separate lid. The interior colour of the boxes is white or black. The boxes are delivered folded and thus are ready for immediate use.

On request, we will fit your box with a foam inlay, which gives you the option to position your products inside the box in an optimal way.

Boxes with lid
Two-part box, consisting of bottom half and lid, assembled and folded, ready for immediate use.
Optional base materials:
Kraft paper, mat:
Kraft paper has a natural look and a slightly roughened surface, similar to the standard 80g stationery/copy paper or like a mat shoe box.
Coated cardboard, mat lamination:
Coated cardboard with a mat lamination gives your box a high-quality and very elegant appearance.
Coated cardboard, glossy lamination:
Just like a mat lamination, the shiny surface of the box will efficiently attract your customers attention and focus.
Structured paper "telato":
Our structured "telato" paper will give your box a special touch. The look and feel will not be like "just" paper.
Printing process:
Offset printing:
The classical way of achieving a high quality printing result for a multi-coloured print. We print either according to Pantone references or in CMYK.
Embossed printing:
Embossment lets you "feel" certain elements of your logo, like the heart in the picture above. A smart way to emphasize certain elements of your logo.
Hotstamp printing:
Hotstamp printing works much like an office stamp and will have your logo appear in an opaque way. Hotstamping is ideal e.g. for a tone-on-tone print (shiny on mat) or for printing your logo in metallic colours like gold or silver.
Spot UV varnish:
With spot UV varnish, specific areas of your logo will turn shiny on a matt background. Unlike hotstamp printing, that always refers to just one colour, spot UV will be applied to defined areas and can therefore also highlight a multi colour background.
Box variations:
2-piece box:
The lid is slightly larger than the bottom part.
3-piece box without gap:
The lid is the same size as the bottom part. We will insert an inner "ring" into the bottom part, so that the lid will slide over the inside "ring" and thus exactly close the box.
3-piece box with visible gap:
Same as the 3-piece box without gap, however, in this case the inner "ring" will be so high, that it prevents the box from shutting completely. Consequently, a part of the inner "ring" will stay visible. This allows interesting and decorative colour combinations.

Boxes with flip top
Our flip top boxes are manufactured as folding boxes in our Far East production facility. To minimize transport costs, the boxes are delivered flat (see picture on the far right). Just fold up the box into the right shape - prefabricated sticker tapes in the respective corners will glue the edges together and provide you with a stable and ready-to-use box.
The printing processes and materials are the same as our slip lid boxes. Since the cover is attached to the rest of the box, you have the following options for closing it:
- velcro fastener
- magnetic catch
- snap button fastener
- integrated silk or grosgrain ribbon
Drawer boxes
Our bespoke drawer boxes are hand made in our Far East producion facility and will be shipped to you flat (see right picture).

Folding boxes
As the name suggests, a folding box
will be supplied laying flat and needs to be folded in shape. Using the prefabricated lids on both ends, this is a very easy and fast task. Compared to the box variations described above, folding boxes are typically manufactured from thinner carton (around 300 gsm) and thus represent a more cost-conscious packaging solution.
Your logo will be printed on the outside of the box, inside printing is available on request.
