Our plastic bags are made of stable, durable LDPE foils. The material is usually white, but can also be dyed in one of the standard colours that you will find further down on this page. All grip holes are reinforced with a double foil inside the bag. The bag material is fully recyclable, some bag sizes are also available as ECO-shoppers made of recycled or biodegradable foils. Which parameters will influence print and plate cost for my bag?
The print costs
depend on the print coverage, the more ink is needed, the higher the print costs will be. The difference between adding or taking out one colour, however, will merely be one or two cents per bag.

The plate or cliché costs
depend on the print size or the size of the print motive. The more your logo stretches across the bag, the bigger the plate will have to be. The plate cost is a one time charge for your first order, when you reorder the same bag (same size, no change in print motive), we will reuse the existing plate. Please note that we will need one plate per print colour. A change to your print motive means that we will need a new plate.

What is a plate or a cliché:
A cliché is a rubber plate with your logo, that is very similar to a business stamp.
Even if the print coverage is quite low, the print size can go up to 100%.

As an alternative to the normal LPDE bags, we also have a choice of plastic bags that will help to protect the environment and to use resources in a responsible way. Please choose from the following options for some of our standard formats:

Dyed foils as an alternative to a white foil:
Our standard foil, that is most commonly used for production, is a white LPDE foil.
This means that your bag is always white inside, even if we print with 100% colour coverage on the outside.
As an alternative, we can also print your bag on completely dyed foil, i.e. your bag will have the same material colour inside and outside.
The production cost will increase by less than 10% compared to the white foil. We will be happy to send you an individual quotation on request.

The plate costs mentioned above are just an indication for the respective size of bag and print motive, assuming that you will send us the print data as a vectorized .eps, .ai or .pdf file. To ensure a satisfying print quality, all pictures should have a resolution of min. 300 dpi. Please state your print colour as Pantone "C" color. The actual plate costs may differ from the costs mentioned on this page and are only binding as mentioned on the sample print, that we will send you for approval upon having received your order and before start of production. On request and without your entering into any obligation, we will be happy to send you a binding plate cost quotation prior to your order if you submit us your logo and print motive in advance. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you follow your local legal requirements regarding proper recycling of packaging materials.
